How can higher education institutions use lessons learned from operating during a pandemic to enhance their enterprise risk management (ERM) programs and business continuity planning (BCP)? Many institutions had ERM programs and business continuity plans in place, but the pandemic highlighted key areas where further strengthening was beneficial. In addition, the pandemic proved the value of having these critical functions increasing collaboration and communication across the institution.

2. Assess approaches for performing audits and/or reviews of business continuity plans.
