About ACUA Kick Starters
ACUA strives to be an indispensable resource for professional knowledge exchange and education content for internal auditing in higher education. To deliver on this goal, we offers ACUA Kick Starters. These documents help you plan and perform an audit in a higher education specific topic area. ACUA Kick Starter Development Process
Each Kick Starter is developed by an ACUA member who is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a topic area that is specific to higher education. Every Kick Starter is assigned to a Project Coordinator, who will assist the SME in the development process. The SME fills out the Kick Starter template using their knowledge and expertise and returns the completed template to their Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator then distributes the ACUA Kick Starter to a peer review team and copy editor, and coordinates with the SME to address comments and feedback. Once the Kick Starter has been finalized, it is posted to the ACUA website and disseminated to ACUA members.
