This will be our first series with a focus on the athletics environment and associated risks in higher education. This webinar will provide some broad background information related to risks in the Athletics environment that include: NCAA compliance, financial impacts, University policy impacts, conference regulations   as well as emerging and typical high-risk areas.  We will provide some ideas for initial audit areas and approaches to establish a rapport with Athletics, as well as some related resources.

After attending this webinar, participants will be able to: ‎

1. Gain an understanding of risks associated with Athletics (be aware that while NCAA compliance risk is most often thought of, there are financial risks and University policy compliance risks).
2. Learn how to start an Athletics-focused audit program (how to get your foot in the door so Athletics can see the value audits can bring)
