Letter from the President – Spring 2026

Spring is upon us and everywhere around us new life is blooming and coming alive. ACUA has been blooming, too! The spring Virtual Summit was lively and packed with actionable content. The Professional Education Committee barely took a beat before jumping into AuditCon preparations! I hope you will join us in New Orleans for AuditCon, September 27-October 1.

The Membership Committee is preparing to launch the bi-annual Member Needs Survey. ACUA uses the survey responses to make important programming decisions to benefit our members. Your responses to the survey are critical for shaping these decisions.

ACUA is a unique organization as it is volunteer-led, with the perseverance, dedication and diligence of members just like you. There is a team of volunteers behind every ACUA event and member resource that you use. In honor of Volunteer Appreciation Month, I would like to thank our many volunteers who truly make ACUA the strong organization that it is. If you know an ACUA volunteer, be sure to thank them and consider nominating them for one of ACUA’s members awards. The nomination deadline is closing soon! If you are a volunteer, I extend my gratitude to you for all that you do for ACUA.
