ACUA Leads! is a year-long leadership program that will provide a framework to develop leadership skills, including communication, strategic planning, performance management, self-awareness, and innovative problem solving.
Make a year-long commitment to attend two 2.5 day leadership track sessions at ACUA Midyear conferences
Complete a 360 Degree Assessment
Interact with CAEs, including two ACUA Leads! Executive Sponsors, throughout the year
Participate in conference calls throughout the year to discuss emerging industry issues and leadership skills
Work one-on-one with a mentor throughout the year to develop leadership potential.
The registration feee for the year-long program is $2,500 total payable in two installments of $1,500 and $1,000. Registration includes access to all social events and meal functions at two Midyear Conferences and the cost to administer the 360 evaluation.
Class II will be held in conjunction with the 2013 Midyear in Seattle and 2014 Midyear. We are now accepting nominations for Class II!
Participation for Class II is limited to 20 candidates. Ideal participants will have at least five (5) years of Audit, Compliance, or Risk Management work experience as:
Director or manager in a small shops (1-3)
Manager or lead senior in a medium to large shops (3+)
Nominations for Class III in 2014 will open in September 2013. Cohort III will be held in conjunction with the ACUA 2014 Midyear Conference in Kansas City, Missosuri and the ACUA 2015 Midyear Conference.
